Galena and Riverton are so small that practically speaking any traveler-oriented business would have to be on Route 66. A local confirmed that Jerry’s DX gas station in Riverton was on Route 66 as well.
A similar assumption could be made for Baxter Springs but I have seen two different matchcovers from Baxter Springs, one a gas station and one a car dealer, that were on 12th Street which was US Highway 166. Any matchcover from Baxter Springs is included if it is a traveler-oriented business located on Military Avenue. Byrd’s Drive Inn was known to be on Military although the matchcover does not say. The Dairy-E Drive-In was at the corner of Willow and 2nd where Route 66 makes a turn toward Military. The Ranch House Café mentions the “Port of Entry” which would likely place it on Route 66 too.
